Welcome to Pit Lane Scale Models
Hello
My name is Paul Young and I am the owner/operator of Pit Lane Scale Models. I am both an avid collector of model cars and a motor racing
fan. Pit Lane was created with some very basic principles in mind:
- Deliver quality products;
- Competitive prices; and
- Attention to customer service and satisfaction
Providing the foregoing to motor sport enthusiasts around the world have proven to be our formula for success.
Quality Professional Service
A hobby collecting anything should be fun; especially motorsport products. We believe in providing you the most reliable and professional
service possible. We are professionals at what we do and only sell products that you see on our site. We sell only high quality brands.
Quality Collectible Products
Each model has been selected due to its design, authenticity, collectibility and high manufactured standards. We do not carry unlimited
product lines. We carry select models thereby ensuring we know them well. To be officially licensed by top racing teams and drivers, our
merchandise must meet rigid criteria. Many of the larger models have functional steering, doors, trunks and hoods that open to show amazing
detail for a model.
People new to this fascinating collecting hobby often ask how large the models are. The approximate size of the
various model scales is as follows:

The most common collector sizes are the 1/18 for large models and 1/43 for smaller models. The 1/43 scale series models are packaged in a
plastic display case that you may display your model in or remove the model as you choose.
We guarantee that we ship the highest quality models in excellent condition. However, if you should receive merchandise that is damaged,
please contact us immediately and return it for replacement.
Return Policy
Please return merchandise in the original packaging by either Post or other insured carriers such as UPS, Purolator, etc. Immediately upon
receipt of the returned merchandise a new model will be shipped to you if that item is in stock. If the item is not in stock we will order
it for you from the manufacturer and ship it as soon as possible. If the model is no longer in stock you have the option of choosing
another model at the same price or having your money refunded.
If there are any disputes, we will endeavor to satisfy you to the fullest extent of our ability.
General
We try to deliver the best products, information, pricing and service reasonably possible. However, we are not responsible for printing
errors or omissions. We frequently update our products and product lines and reserve the right to do so at any time.
