Shipping and Handling

To calculate when you will receive an item that you have ordered from Pit Lane Scale Models, a simple formula may help you.

Delivery Time to You = (Availability of Models Chosen) + (Shipping Time)

The MiniChamps Collection and UT Models will usually be shipped within 48 hours of processing your order. Due to the number of models we sell, occasionally the model you order may be temporarily out of stock. We will rush order the model from our suppliers to get it to you as quickly as we can.

Customs

Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your orders contents by product type. If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the items is still stated on the customs form. Currently, we are not able to describe the contents in any other way.

Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Pit Lane Scale Models has taken great care in ensuring all transactions are secure by encrypting the transaction data throughout the purchasing process. At no time will your credit card data be visible to others over the Internet. Card data is also encrypted within the database to add an extra level of protection. If you are at all uncomfortable with providing you credit card information over the Internet, please type "Call Me" in the credit card number field on the secure server - a representive of our company will call you within the next 48 to retreive you card information and process your order.
